Mike MacDonald is a lifelong resident of Macomb County. He lives in Macomb Township with his wife Lauraanne and their dog Gizmo. He is a financial representative for Northwestern Mutual and is the Vice President of the Michigan Air Force Association. MacDonald received his doctorate in Health Administration and his masters degree in business administration. He serves as a board member of the Friends of Macomb Township Foundation and is a member of the Clinton Township Kiwanis Club. Additionally, Mike serves as a doctoral mentor to assist those who pursuing their doctoral degree.
MacDonald grew up in Clinton Township, attending De La Salle High School, where he now sits on the Alumni Board of Directors. He studied at Macomb Community College before earning his Bachelor of Science degree in exercise science.
Mike is not a professional politician, just a concerned professional who has spent most of his life researching and finding solutions to problems. It’s easy to see that Macomb County has not been getting its fair share. The people of the 10th District deserve better. When Mike is elected to the State Senate, he will work with the people of the district for what they deserve.That’s why Mike is running to be your next representative for the 10th State Senate district, which includes Sterling Heights, Clinton and Macomb Townships.
